MonaVie’s Opperation Resucue is the Cause and philanthropy of MonaVie and is very near and dear to my heart. My home church, Fountain of Life Apostolic Church, originated from Brazil, which I have been apart of since 2004. Around 2005 I watched the movie, “City of God“, which is a movie about how the favelas in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, became a very out of control gang infested area of the world, otherwise known as the City of God. I already had a love for the people of Brazil before watching this movie, and it broke my heart, but left me hopeless as I could understand that it was near impossible to penetrate this area of the world with rehabilitation and God’s salvation.
When I met the company, MonaVie, in 2008, I learned that the company had a Cause to give back to Brazil and that was to feed and educate the children of this area in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I had never seen this kind of “giving back” by a “for profit” and “very successful” company.
